The DS1402-RP3 is a Touch and Hold Probe that allow you to just touch an iButton or snap it in for hands free operation. The cable is a 3ft curly cord.

The DS1402-RP3 works with the DS9097U-009 serial port or DS9490R USB adapters via an RJ-11 plug.
